Ye Zhiqiu’s fair skin made the dark circles more noticeable.
"I didn’t sleep well last night," Ye Zhiqiu said as she took a sip of milk from the fridge and turned to Lu Liao. "Wait for me while I change, then we can leave."
After changing into fresh clothes upstairs, Ye Zhiqiu came down just as Lu Liao was waiting below. They headed to Luo Bingde's wedding. On their way there, Lu Liao remained silent; it wasn’t easy being happy when her father was marrying someone she disliked.

She led Lu Liao inside and said, "Let's go, they’ve been waiting for us."
